ROFL. Yeah that is some twisted shit. That guy has been rapping for a few years now, changing his persona every couple of years. Before this he pretended to be this serious company man, performing in suits etc.

It's just gimmicks. Shock value to make sure his video get's talked about, I guess. Bands over here tend to make many more videos than overseas (often before even releasing a debut album) because we have a channel that gives airtime pretty easily. (hell, they even played my video).

As for what we are smoking... It's better than anything up north, I can promise you that.
But don't worry about it, we're not crazy, a lot of it is tongue-in-cheek.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the... uhm... "odd" looking guy around before. We might have 50 million people, but it's not really someone you would forget, I guess.

Oh and the name "Die Antwoord" means "The Answer", btw.
